nonfiction writing workshop at the senior center

Elk River Arts & Lectures is hosting a free nonfiction writing workshop at the Park County Senior Center!

Local writer Surya Milner will lead this one-session nonfiction writing workshop during which participants will begin to write about a pivotal or emblematic moment in their lives. Tuesday, November 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. 

This workshop welcomes and encourages the participation of people of all ages and experience levels.

Surya Milner is a writer and professor at Montana State University. She writes about places: the American west in reality and mythology, her mother’s homeland of India, and the many planes in between. She holds an MFA in creative writing and MA in English Literature from Northwestern University.
