Jean Souvigney has worked for many decades in the civic arena, advancing public support for nonprofit groups involved in conservation, and student and public health. She spent 30 years as a lobbyist at the Montana legislature, has drafted legislation, testified before Congress, and organized media campaigns. She’s an adept researcher and writer, has helped create, advance and fundraise for nonprofit groups, and has served on numerous boards and committees, including the state legislature’s Environmental Quality Council. She is currently chair of the Livingston Parks & Trails Committee.
In addition to being available for lectures, Souvigney would be willing to collaborate with students on projects, offer mentorships, and help them find volunteer and internship positions.
