Ian Kellett is an expedition designer and media specialist who focuses on wildlife and science programming. He has 17 years of field experience shooting, producing and directing media projects for clients that have included National Geographic, BBC and Discovery. He uses film as a storytelling medium, and has filmed tiger sharks, followed biologists as they track jaguars, interviewed Sudanese refugees, and explored all seven oceans. His current focus involves integrating the innerwork of meditation and self-awareness as a vehicle for reverence for nature.
I am excited to share my expertise in photography, filmmaking and storytelling with students. I would look to explore ways that students can engage with their community and their natural habitat through the creation of media. Further, I am always ready to share my photography and filmmaking in the hopes of inspiring students to the wide horizons of ocean exploration.
