Grizzly bear trainer, filmmaker

casey anderson elk river arts and lecturesHelena native Casey Anderson is the founder, director and co-owner of Montana Grizzly Encounter Rescue and Educational Sanctuary near Bozeman. A former wildlife rehabilitation technician for the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Anderson adopted and trained a newborn grizzly cub named Brutus, who has subsequently appeared in many films, documentaries, television commercials and live educational shows across the United States. Anderson is a world traveler and adventurer best known as the host and executive producer of two Nat Geo WILD television series, Expedition Wild and America the Wild with Casey Anderson, both of which won the Parents’ Choice Awards for Educational and Informative Content. He is the executive producer of VisionHawk Films, a Montana company that specializes in ethical wildlife, nature and adventure filmmaking.
